Uuden kompassin on kehittänyt 20 vuotta Australian maajoukkueessa suunnistanut Warren Key.
Kehitystyöhön käytettiin peräti 4 vuotta. Yhteistyössä suunnittelussa maailman paras suunnistaja Thierry Gueorgiou. Uudessa kompassissa on panostettu huomiota herättäviin suuntaviivoihin, vakaaseen neulaan sekä ergonomisuuteen. Täysin uutta on suunnistajan mieltymysten mukaan säädettävä peukalon paikka. Neularasiaa on suojattu alumiinisellareunuksella. Kompassin pohjassa on karttamuoviin paremmin tarraavat silikonit.
Pakkauksen mukana tulee kaksi erilaista kiinnitysremmiä.
Kompassia on saatavana sekä vasemmalle että oikealle peukalolle ja siihen on saatavana lisävarusteena myös suurennuslasi.
