It has a smaller diameter breathing tube which enables you to train your lungs and diaphragm since the airflow is more restricted.

The snorkel comes with a detachable silicone mouthpiece, so you can wash it once in a while.

Pro Swim Tip: When swimming the butterfly stroke with the swimmer's snorkel, try to keep the snorkel's tube free of water. It will force you to have a very shallow wave (not dipping your head down into the water too much), therefore, having a more smooth and streamlined butterfly stroke.
