Had a lot of bags in my life (All the time walking with my wife and kids - I have to carry all the stuff) lately carried MilTec Assault LG it's all worn out in 1 year. If you compare the sizes, they are similar, but the amount is more - every millimeter of space is used. The quality is good - rain drops stay on the surface like on the surface of a smartphone screen. I do not know what else to add... All already know about the quality of the bag. I admit I fell in love with this bag - as men fall in love with the car :D Time will tell how long it will serve me.

It can just barely fit my 15 inch laptop, but it's not accessible through the side zipper. There's no strap management, so it does look a bit messy. Apart from that, I’m happy with the bag.

This bag is completely different. Strong, light and very practical, it is my favorite for short and committed treks, even in places like the Yukon or Alaska in winter! Perhaps we could wish for a lined bottom of the bag to reinforce its solidity, for my part I sewed a ring with a carabiner for the keys in the upper zipped pocket but it is not essential. Thanks to Varuste for the neat and fast delivery!

TLDR AT THE END As I write this, I have owned the backpack for a few months, used it every day in different environments (at work, at the cabin, on a trip, in the store, hiking...). The good things about the backpack are the flaps next to the zippers, which you can hold on to when you close the chain (they can withstand hanging the entire backpack from them), the unusual zipper solution of the main pocket, makes it easier to access the lowest items, the pocket on the side e.g. for a laptop or a book, and well-made compartments around the backpack; the side pockets can easily eat the biggest Camelbak drinking bottle or a 1L water bottle (larger will do), the main pocket has good side pockets, e.g. For EA supplies, magnesium, shooting range diary, etc. It has also been tested to withstand at least light rain, I haven't been able to try it in heavy rain yet. There aren't many bad things about the backpack, but maybe quality makes up for quantity. Backpack waist straps are basically a sick joke, on the other hand, you don't necessarily need them in a backpack this small, but if you're thinking of getting one as a hiking backpack, there are better options. Another bad side of the backpack, which bothers me a lot, is that if the backpack is not fully and evenly packed, it will not stay upright. For example, when the backpack is packed in half (raincoat, book, lunch box, change of clothes and EDC), when you put it on the ground, it falls forward (shoulder straps up). You learn to live with it, but it's really annoying at first. TLDR; In summary, I'm very happy with the backpack and I haven't planned to change my daily backpack for many years, because for this specific purpose this one is great. This also works for off-road conditions if needed, but I wouldn't use it off-road because of the bad waist strap.

Excellent backpack, robust and functional with attention to detail. Ideal for a one/two day outing as well as for daily activities. The only flaw is a bit heavy when empty. But that's the price to pay for robustness

We get Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault backpacks for our company's traveling group based on their own choice. The user experiences have been excellent: the backpack is functional and of good quality. A couple of laptops are handy, and they are also easily accessible. The backpack can fit "life-saving" personal equipment, and the backpack can be used as carry-on luggage. We are satisfied with the purchase, which has the right price/quality ratio.

Replacing my Patagonia Black hole with the 2-day it's an improvement in very area apart from weight. More space and more features so it's a win-win . For me the weight isn't an issue due to the increased padding on the straps, a full yoke system and waist belt. Very comfortable and looking forward to seeing how it wears over the years

Super bag but hardly stands up when it is not very full. I only have it for the moment to test on the go and in cross-country on a bike and I don't see any disadvantages for the moment. In addition, it washes very easily, with a slightly damp sponge.

It is a great backpack, made with good materials and good finishes. the back yoke system adapts well to my height 178cm, and 83kg. But it has a flaw, for me, and that is that it should have a lumbar belt, as if they have other similar mystery ranch models, that's why I didn't give it five stars.

Disappointed with durability considering it’s marketed as a outdoor / military bag. The stitching in the shoulder padding has come apart and the bottom of the shoulder strap has started to fray. The yoke can be replaced but the strap is stitched in, so I’ll have to find someone who can cut and reattach. This bag has never even been outdoors, I use it for my work and gym bag and it isn’t even a year old.

Good functionalities in the backpack. I was skeptical about Y-zippers at first, but it has proven to be a very workable solution. The beverage bottle pockets on the side of the backpack are definitely the worst in the backpack. The drink bottle drops out of there really easily because the pocket is not deep enough. The carrying handle is also bad in the backpack, which starts to hurt your fingers when used for a long time if the backpack is heavy.

After almost two weeks of daily use, I am largely satisfied. Positively: + The computer compartment with side access is the best I have tried, without exception. You can easily access a smaller computer from the outside without having to open the main compartment of a fully packed bag. If you have heavy packing, no weight is placed on the zipper, which means that it should last longer. On my previous backpack, it was the zipper to the computer compartment that gave up first. The only downside is that a larger computer can be tricky to get that way. The computer compartment does not reach all the way to the bottom of the bag, which protects the computer and dampens the shock if you put a fully loaded bag a little too heavy on the floor. + The carrying system is better than usual on backpacks of this size. If you are going to carry very heavy packing long distances, you may need to look at better options but otherwise this is more than you need. Given the size of the bag, situations where a better carrying system is needed are not so common. + Extra compartments: Two small compartments at the top, one of which is much larger than I expected. Additional mesh compartment with zipper inside the bag. Definitely better than most other backs in this size. Neutral: The system with three zippers (Y-front) for the main compartment. It is not as flexible if you pack from the top as the "rolltops" I am used to but gives better access if you have the surface to open up the whole bag. Can be a habit so it takes time before I can say for sure if I like it or not. Negative: - The narrow pockets on the inside of the bag at the lower zipper. They are in the way, especially when you do not open the whole bag but pack from the top. I can not see any use for them so I am now thinking about whether I should sew them together or simply get rid of the scissors even though it takes me a while to cut in a new bag. - No reinforcement on the bottom of the bag. I have worn out many backpacks and the bottom is one of the first things that can come with it. - The look: The system with sewn-on straps on the outside to be able to build on the bag with more functions (molle) feels completely unnecessary to me. It just gives the bag a less stylish look. Gives maybe more military associations which for me is not positive. The manufacturer has a bag without this (urban assault) which unfortunately is otherwise a much worse alternative. The computer compartment is located on it so that a fully packed bag puts weight on the zipper and the compression straps for the main compartment are missing. However, UA is a bit cheaper. - The price, this is not a cheap backpack. Overall, this will be my standard backpack for anything that does not require the larger 80-liter backpack in the future. I have previously worn out about one back a year until my last one which lasted for 7-8 years. Unfortunately, it is no longer manufactured and the manufacturer's alternatives do not meet my needs. Mystery ranch 2DA therefore gets the chance. Given the price, I will be disappointed if this does not last for at least 5 years.

Comfortable backpack to wear, overall quality corresponds to the price. Even with a heavier load, the backpack has no problems squeaking or would be otherwise uncomfortable. The backpack is ideal for EDC. The backpack will be usable for a 2-day hike, but one will have to think about what to take.

I use this for day hikes and overnight camping. Occasionally as EDC though it doesn't have as much organizational aspects as some others that are purpose built for it, but it works. There are a LOT of straps which you might want to "tie or bundle up". You probably need a friend to help when setting up the harness (makes it a lot easier), and don't do it with an empty backpack. Put about 10lbs or more. Otherwise you will find you need to readjust when you put a real load it. Always test real load conditions BEFORE you go off for that hike. There's a lot of talk about various backpacks and how comfortable they all are - I can tell you this, its the long hike that you will realize how good this backpack is.

Very good backpack. The quality seems to be at the rendezvous. Not yet been able to test it in hiking conditions. For an everyday bag and to go on weekends it is really great. The capacity is really perfect for a weekend or even more (if you travel light enough), neither too small nor too large. The adjustment system is really perfect. You can go there with your eyes closed :-)

High quality & reasonably large. Works when you have to get to / from the office on weekdays, but also if you are going on a shorter trip over the weekend or working a whole week elsewhere. The bag itself weighs relatively little. It is robust - have not used it for more than a month but think it will last a very long time. The adjustable shoulder straps are very comfortable. A loaded bag with a laptop, all accessories such as chargers, cords, etc., even clothes do not make the straps rub on the shoulders. I like their "3-zip" design - convenient way to only open part or all of the bag if you need to dig further down.

Generally a nice bag with alot of features and usable pouches. Good cushioning on the shoulder pads which compensates for the hip belt, which is only a simple buckle. It has a lot of webbing which may be to much if you don't have the intention to use it. Please be aware of the bag will have a tactical look even though you buy in neutral colors like foliage.

Good: Nice assault pack, plenty of room for 2 days. Good sternum strap, nice small pocket in lid for sunglasses or small items. Good stow away for tablet/PC in pack. As always, the opening of the pack is easy on MR, maybe one of the best in the market, beats some of the competition out there. Ex.Arcteryx Assault 30. Bad: Waist belt is a "normal" model, as the competition - in that size - but would have been nice with a bigger waist belt, as on the MR 3 day assault.

EDC Backpack. There is comfortable space after the laptop, salami and snacks. I am 180cm tall and L / XL size with carrying device is undersized. S / M would have been a better size. The backpack has, in its own opinion, a suitable combination of pockets for daily hops and a carrying device that can be used in adventures all over the world. I bought a 5.11 AMP 12 instead of a backpack that lacked a bit of pockets and drink bun holders for my own taste.
