Once again, proper German shoes with double soles without gorets, the third in 30 years. Holds water well when greased regularly, comfortable on the feet, works both in the city and in the countryside all year round.

Superb walking shoe with good grip on soft ground, elegant as well

Very well made boot.Wide in the forefoot,very comfortable around the ankles.Old style walking boot,that requires good breaking in.Wore these up and down the local beach for a couple of weeks and now they fit like a glove,excellent!

What a beautiful and fine shoe. I chose this shoe for durability; a zwiegenähte shoe that can be resoled well. Wonderful that this is still handmade in Germany. The shoe is wide in the forefoot (I have somewhat wider feet), and has a nice 'heel-grip' at the heel. After reading reviews I decided to buy 41.5, normally I have 41 (longest foot is 25.9 cm long). 41.5 is perfect for me.

Great hiking boots. Manufacturing is superior and the design is also nice. My feet are quite wide in the fronts so the are generally Meindl fits.
