These have become my go to screws for alpine and ice climbing. All of the 17 and 22cm screws on my rack have been replaced with these and the weight savings is significant. Early some people had problems with these screws but those issues were addressed and I have not had any problems. These screws place and clean easily.

Light ice screws. Drill well. Many say that the so-called. on damp ice these stays may not screw up easily and that may be true, but in the end that hasn’t been a big problem for me at least yet.
