Simply great for experienced climbers or beginners, the automatic locking system in the event of a fall is really a big plus and you feel at ease with a beginner. Getting started is really very easy to do. I really recommend this product.

Good and reliable GriGri. I myself have not come across any challenges with the poor mobility of the rope securing the lead, but I have heard comments about it from others.

Great to use and easy to adjust. Just flip the dial on the back. You can use your nail if your hands are small enough to push in the lock pin. Helps when delaying a heavier climber. Bit weighty but wouldn't go climbing without it.

Easy to use and provides certainty for verification

Does what I need it to for saddle hunting. Much easier than ascending with prusix cords

Very easy to use, clear markings. Typical good Petzl quality. In tree climbing use, the pitched rope does not slip through the device very easily, at least when I used the max strength 11mm rope.

Works as promised. I haven't tried the regular GriGri for a while, but I remember that it was more difficult to control how fast the rope is released (when the climber is coming down).

High quality product. Love it. I heard that it is not so easy to lower your partner quickly with antipanic function, but it's not a problem, lowering can be quick enough (as my partner starting to shout "not so fast") without triggering antipanic.

Good for beginners for top rope racing, but really bad for rope securing despite different modes. For the lower rope I would recommend grigri 2
