Really good for storing a headlamp and turning it into a table lamp. The supplied hook and string are not very handy for hanging from the roof of the tent, but it works for lack of anything better.

A little pointless, especially if you buy a Tikka that comes with a diffuser bag.

I bought it more as a case for my headtorch. It does work as a lantern but you will probably be better of buying an actual lantern. Its a little gimmicky.

A great little product that is both a good transport case for a headlamp and a handy extra light that can be hung on a tree at a campsite and the light spreads over a larger area. The Black Diamond Storm 450 headlamp, with which I have used it, also goes well here.

Spreads the light well and turning on the lamp works just fine. In addition to using the lantern, I bought the case to protect the lamp when it is in a backpack, where the lamp has not turned on while in the case. A hanging string is good when you can detach the other end so you can use fixed links/etc. hang.

Excellent product. Works as a storage case and distributes the light of the headlamp evenly around. Easy to hang the tent on the ceiling hook. By buying this, you save money that would otherwise be spent on a separate touring light. I use it as a pair of Tikka headlamps.

It seems valid, although it has not yet been tried "on the field". However, I tested at home with a Petzl headlamp, and it seemed to scatter / soften light nicely into the environment.

Convenient as a hiking campground light.

A great partner to the Swift RL that I also purchased. Diffuser is just right. Can turn on/off and adjust brightness from the outside. Can fit the headlamp and band, plus it’s short USB charge cable, keeping everything together. So good.

Good quality. Seems to protect the headlamp very securely, while working great as a lantern. It can both stand on the ground and hang in the elastic cord it features.

This is my second Noctilight. I've had the first for two years and can report that the workmanship is great, but the transparent plastic lid has yellowed heavily. There is a star deduction for this. A really handy addition to your headlamp as a guy. The light is well scattered up / down depending on how you use it. I recommend!

This Petzl Noctilight is an upgrade/addition to the one I've used before for trekking and biking, and so far, so good. I also found the light diffusor/lantern box I purchased with it to be a great addition to use while camping.

This light diffuser is practical, it allows both to use your lamp in a different way and to be able to store it while protecting it. I remove a star because on the site, the photo corresponded to the red model and I received an orange.

This was, to some extent, an “impulse purchase”. First I bought it for my wife as a tent light and then for myself as well. I used to complain about a separate tent light in addition to the headlight, but now two different products turned into one. There must have been weight savings, even though I’m not a “gram filer”. I think a workable solution and reliable like Petzl in general.
