Regarding the tool, I had a leatherman that was stolen from me, I wanted another one so much I find it useful every day. The quality is at the rendezvous, we feel the solidity in our hands. The useful tools are there, a sharp blade, a saw blade, box opener, screwdriver, you can change the head (tools available as an option) there is a cruciform and a flat screwdriver in spite of everything. A whistle, a bit of a hassle to remove, and a tool to sharpen the blade (a real useful innovation unlike the whistle) there is also a flat area which may be used as a small hammer, at the end, a carabiner to secure the port and also a blade to hang it on the belt. The presence also of a clip to close the knife and prevent accidental opening. The knife is sold with a cordura sheath, I would have preferred leather as my first knife, but that's just a detail. You can buy this leatherman pliers / tools, you won't be disappointed. FYI, the tool is guaranteed for 300 months, or 25 years.

Leatherman quality. The blade of the knife was sharpened a bit on the other side and was not, in principle, at its sharpest, but that is not a real problem now. The order arrived as desired.

Overall very well done, good quality of the blades, solid. Some flaws however: lack of scissors, the fire stone is too small because it is integrated into the plastic of the whistle and will certainly not be able to be used for a long time, the sharpening stone either because it is too small and difficult to use on such a small support, no rule or engraving on the handle such as on the Wave / Wave + could have been done, the saw could have been replaced by a blade holder like on the Surge (thus giving access to a wood saw, a file, a saw metal <- very useful in survival!). Too bad also that some tools are useless: the leather sewing tool and the box opener ... who cares about a tool, the boxes often all have tabs like on a bobbin and sew leather with the punch d 'a multi-tool ... yeah, even in survival, it seems to me to be totally useless. The whistle is limited ... its strident but nothing more and not always easy to whistle in it. The hammer is practical and looks solid even if the surface is very small. It can be used as a bottle opener by its snap hook part like the Skeletool (here is another space to save on the blades, let's turn the bottle opener - replace it with a corkscrew?). The pliers are of good quality and the blades of the cable cutter are replaceable. Useful tool when camping but not for long term survival.

Signal seems like a valid game. I had to make a small compromise that it didn’t include scissors, nor a corkscrew, for which there would have been use for sure, but other tools were found in the device after a little adjustment (the results were so hard to put back that I had to resort to youtube).
