The shoe worked well until the lace loop broke and came off the left shoe. Now at the importer for repair. If it is properly repaired, it is a shoe worth recommending.

I bought a pair of Melinda boots over 25 years ago and have recently had to retire them as the soles came away , hoping my new pair of boots will also last another 25 years 👍

Hard to find hiking boots with leather inside, more comfy, no bad smell, sexy! I buy them for the second time. It does not last more than a few months if used all the day, every day, non-stop. But I recommend. A couple of advises: regularly put some waterproofing wax for leather for the outside, and some face cream for the inside, and avoid sand to go inside (with gaiters). If you cannot find the right size, you can also look for the Lowa Tibet LL (leather inside as well).

Have only tried out the boots on shorter hikes so far. The boots feel very comfortable and the leather has a really nice feel.

Otherwise, it looks like a good hiking shoe, but the big downside is the snoring insoles when walking. I don’t know the reason for the embarrassing sound, but I’m forced to buy new insoles right away for new shoes, which I think is a pointless expense.

Check-in completed. One bladder on an anonymous toe. I chose because of the filmlessness, the water that has stayed well so far outside.
