Basic quality Meindl. A feature, however, is a relatively low footrest. My insole doesn't really fit in the shoe. My normal shoe size is 45, I took 47. The wool sock fits, but the shoe is tight on top of the toe. Not a frosty shoe, but up to -15 it will do just fine.

Good boots. The lacing allows for different usage needs: tighter for small progress and looser so-called as attack shoes, i.e. you can jump into the shoes without fiddling with the laces. The loose boots have rubber soles, so they can be used as indoor or camping shoes if necessary. These are a bit heavy, but that was known.

Comfortable on the feet and warm up to about -25 degrees. In colder weather, it doesn't work, Nututukas and Sorelit are warmer. But these are good as everyday shoes and worth the price.

A really warm and comfortable shoe. I took a size bigger than normal and it was a good solution. Now you can fit a thicker sock and there is still plenty of room. It would be nice to have the option to use "locking" hooks on the lacing loops, if you sometimes want to lace the shoe tighter. Now all links are open links, so very tight tightening is not possible. In general, it is not needed in such shoes.

The shoes are suitable at least for snowshoeing in mild weather and in a bit of frost, waterproof up to the rubber part of the bottom. The lower part of the inner shoes is plastic, so not as cold-resistant as you might have expected. The tightening is not very tight, but they certainly stay on the leg.

Based on my short experience, a very warm shoe, at least in the freezing cold. For a long time, my feet stayed warm even though I had to stand in the snow for a longer time -5. Unfortunately, the design of the sole does not fit your foot, you definitely need shaping insoles. I have to try to find suitable insoles for the inside of the felt lining. And you should be careful with the size. My normal shoe size is 43, of these I had to take a size 46 in order to fit a wool sock in the shoe.

The price/quality seems good. The laces slip when tied. The inner shoe is suitable as a "house shoe" because it has a sole. The durability of the base and the "rubber blade" will only become clear after a couple of years. Of course, walking is a breeze with these and they are more suitable for passport work.

So far, after a week of active use, nothing to complain about. They are easy to pull on for yard work, when tightened you can ski with sliding snowshoes and pedal a fat bike in the freezing cold. Plus, a removable inner shoe with a rubber sole. Seems like good value for money.

Ladies on foot, but these don't work wonders either. Loses on good boots on the shaft, but with the right size and choice of socks wins in stiffness. Quite comfortable to walk. -13 degrees in the frost for a couple of hours when he was standing still in the fire so he started to feel cool, but he doesn't know that he is any shoe warm when he nods long enough ... Also a plus from the rubber sole of the felts, it is also suitable for indoor slippers. My mondopoint size is 265, and 43, or 280 with these underwear, boot and wool socks, is a squeeze.

Warm yes, but not good for Muckboots. They could manage if you knew how to choose the size two numbers bigger, which would fit a decent wool sock. The problem then becomes too much space on top of the foot, and when the shoelaces cannot be tightened any further, it feels as if the shoe will fall off when walking. The loops of the strings should be a model of a hiking shoe, so that tightening would be possible. Well, yes, you can still have these in your passport and they are light. Update: it is suitable for snowshoeing when the instep is flexible enough and the ankle is stiff enough to provide support in rough weather on uneven terrain. In addition, the binding of the snowshoe tightens the looseness of the shoe above the ankle.

Positively surprised by these shoes, although at first it came to order too small a size. The strap loops are really slippery but work comfortably in the yard when you leave a couple of top loops blank. This makes the shoes easy to tread on when walking in the yard. Future cabin trips will certainly be facilitated by the rubber soles of the inner shoes, the same shoes will then act as cabin shoes

So far, I have only had my shoes outdoors in everyday woods, where they are very comfortable and warm. As for forest trips, I can't say yet, but they certainly work there too. The shape, appearance and materials of the shoes appeal to me greatly. The feel of the shoes is also good and comfortable, but the only additional wish for the shoes is that they support the foot a little more from the sole / be stiffer. The bottom, on the other hand, is comfortably a little more flexible and not too stiff, so it rolls nicely. All in all, comfortable and great shoes for the hustle and bustle in winter! Sturdy winter boot. The detachable lining is convenient and does not come out with your foot when you loosen the strap of your insole. Multi-purpose shoe. Keeps your foot dry even when wading in a closed neck if the leg gets around the shoe. Even in -20 degrees below zero, it stays warm when you put on two socks. With a man-made fiber or cotton sock, the toes get cold already at -10 degrees, so it's worth investing in socks as well. The merino wool blend is good. The shoe is a bit angular to step into in urban conditions, but great in the woods and hills. When the leg is folded, the arm may bend at some point so that it feels a little on the ankle, especially when cycling. But no abrasions have yet occurred after a couple of weeks of use. Good winter mono!

I recommend using a couple of years of experience and a couple of ten weekends. The best winter boots with 30 years of deer hunting experience. Hopefully the manufacturing will continue. In the past, there was experience with summer wear Meindl 3 season shoes, which are worn with a thin hiking sock with a tight fit. For dimensions + 2 no and now suitable winter footwear thick hiking sock + wool sock. The insole is also made of very high quality. 9+ winter shoe with experience. The only points of opinion are the stiffness ratio of the shank and the blade and the slippery band loops.

High quality, like all other footwear of the brand I own. The removable inner lining is a really good feature in frost boots, the boots get dry faster and the lining is likely to last much longer. There is no experience of the thermal properties in very cold weather yet, but these "winter" weather in southern Finland can at least do well. I took myself one number bigger than my other Meindi shoes. Then the shoes can hold thicker socks.

Used for another winter and the sewing seam between the rubber toe part and the fabric shank part is torn open on the inner edge of both shoes. I took it to a shoemaker to be repaired and it turned out that the rubbers were cracked from the long journey. Therefore, it cannot withstand active use for a very long time.

Didn't really convince me. One size bigger than normal and a bit tighter with a wool sock, should be a wider last. A test run of a couple of hours at five degrees below zero and the ankles were really warm and the toes finally started to freeze. So you should take at least a couple of numbers bigger than normal.

The first Söldens lasted about 10 years, the next about 3 years. In newer shoes, the heels betray / crack. Is the quality deteriorated as in all products in general today. Have been in good use. Not for heavy frosts or staying still, but for small frosts and moving passels. I recommend 2s socks, I prefer pro models, no man-made fibers and no loose.

I bought yesterday. Today I walked over 10km -14 in the cold. 1/2 the number of feet larger, on the foot of the Stadium sea mix sports sock. Perfect fit for your need. Not when in Lapland on Saturday.

Faux leather shaft, synthetic rubber blade, pressed last, narrow ankle insole almost impossible to remove and get back, thinned felt lining in steel with thick shank, but the recording just right loops from the inside out as if it is against the general practice.
