Fast delivery. I think the boots feel good after a few weeks of regular use. Had to get used to the way they felt to go in and got a bit of chafing on one instep at first, but it worked out if you are careful to lace up properly. The shoes feel best when walking on uneven terrain - stable and waterproof.

Nothing bad to say. Hiking shoes that roll well and feel durable, even a longer trip can be easily folded even if there is weight on the back and the laces are tight to support the ankles in the rocks. They fit my narrow foot really well, less blisters than previous hiking boots. They have kept the water.

After a long break, the first hiking boots, so I can't directly compare with others. With a fairly light break-in for a three-day hike, didn't rub or pinch anything. Good adjustability, insoles quite hard. The water resistance did not pass the proper test. They are pleasant to walk with a bike too!

The shoes that went on a four-day autumn hike, the feet remained dry despite the rainy days. A suitable wide last for weak-boned feet. With the hiking sock and the thinner marine sock, I chose one size bigger shoes than what I usually wear.

Lovely! I've been drooling over Island Lady shoes for twenty years, but because of the price, I left them on the shelf. Now I came wearing shopping socks to buy them and I tried on a couple of other Meindl shoes. These are just as good on the feet as the Islands and the price was half the price. It's been two years since the purchase, and I really don't regret it!

Good shoes, but you always have to grease them properly so that they are really waterproof. Sole not quite as non-slip, I would have expected more. One likes to slide away, especially in hills.

I already have Meindl shoes, but their last is much wider. This Meindl fits my narrow leg better. Normally I wear 38 numbers of shoes, of these I had to take 39 numbers in order to fit.

Had had Meindl hiking boot for several years. Now it was time to order new ones. Again, I was not disappointed. Fits perfectly and the first hike is completed. Perfect shoe to walk in varying terrain but also to wear if you just want to go for a walk.

I got these shoes few days before. I am using them in autum in Stockholm. I changed the summer shoes (Salomon)to Meindl Kansas. Off course Meindl feels heavier. Walking in forest around tree roots was very uneasy and slippery experience. But once I was on track with lots of small pebbles, these shoes are very steady and stable.Salomon shoes couldn't stand that surface but these shoes are amazing.Today will be my third day in forest and I hope I will get used to these shoes. So far so good.

We were looking for shoes for the open wife that are stiffer than cross-country sneakers and offer little arm support for hiking with a backpack. Fits perfectly on the foot. Comfortable to walk in. A good sock is enough to keep warm. I walk a lot in unpaved terrain in the forest and get a good grip. Withstands wet well. A real year-round boot.

The shoes immediately adapted perfectly to their own foot, they didn't even need a so-called "run-in". I tested in severe frost how the legs are focused, and on the move the merino wool + wool sock combo does really well. If I had to stay much still, I might not put my foot in a very cold weather. Before use, I treated with Meindl Wet Proof and Sport Wax, these when used together seem to have very good protection. Suitable supportive shoes for basic day trips as well as for slightly longer trips, but not too stiff so the use is comfortable. I've been to so far really pleased.

Really good, suitable last for your own foot, can fit even a thicker hiking sock. Good straps, and the flap stays well in place. Supportive to walk on, but the base still stretches comfortably on the path when walking. I think it is suitable for both berry forest and hiking with a backpack. I did as recommended online before putting on the shoes and waxed them, this was worth it. The leather surface was slightly surface dried, which is perfectly normal when stored in stock. I like it!

My first hiking boots. Works great in mud, river and damp paths when sky, perfect water resistance after good greasing. Dry quickly! Suitably sturdy and at the same time flexible model when climbing upwards, and the bottom keeps on slippery rocks and rock.

I really liked these hiking shoes. They are light, yet sturdy enough and feel comfortable on the foot. The downside, however, is that at the buttocks, the seam began to let in water immediately after a couple of years and about 300-400 kilometers!
