The Exped DownMat 9M product was now included in the early spring two-night tent trip for the first time this weekend. As a normal female, I took this narrower and lighter model. For the first time, I now have a platform from which I did not come up with anything to blame. The air mattress was surprisingly quick to fill by hand, the material is non-slip under the sleeping bag, absolutely brilliantly thick for this "princess back", the price-quality ratio is ok and most importantly the mattress kept the whole body warm all night - the cold didn't come from below. An absolute thumb for this product.

Great platform, especially for winter use. Sufficiently long and wide for a normal weight of 176 cm. The integrated pump is a bit slow and in frosty tents a little strenuous because it takes its own time to get full. With a separate pump, the matter is probably handled much more conveniently. The weight of the substrate does not matter so much in the furnace, so the weight of the substrate is not a problem.

Warm and quite comfortable winter platform. Even a thin foam base underneath so the insulation is further improved. Minus the slow operation of the integrated pump in frost, the foam does not recover properly when cold. The problem is smaller when the platform doesn’t roll too tightly, so you can handle it. Also, the use of the valves is stiff in frost, makes you feel like heating them by hand, before opening / closing, so as not to break down.
