Good and stiff rods. I use 155cm poles in traditional skiing and I bought these in 160cm because that size was immediately available. The idea was that I would then shorten it by 5 cm, but when the rods came and I put the butt with the rods parallel to the hard surface, the measurement from the end of the spike to the exit point of the strap was exactly the same, so there was no need to shorten it. The strap can be adjusted even with gloves on, and the long handle can be held at different heights. The handle is a pleasant material and warm to the hand
