Stiffens Savota's Jääkäri M backpack to be very sturdy. Ergonomically, it may not suit everyone.

I have not used the bag without this, but my first trip out I packed the bag to 18kg- 40lbs and although I would like to go down in weight a bit I managed my hike in just fine.

Mandatory add-on to Savotta M.

The frame is really an "power up" for the Jääkari M. But from my perspective, it should be there from the beginning. And as I understood from the text when buying the back pack, it was included..... But stupid me, no frame :-( But the product it self, back pack with frame is outstanding!

The basic backplate is fine, but if you want to carry weights over 15kg you should consider buying the frame. It gives the simple carrying system of the basic backpack a sturdier feeling, which I prefer over the base version. To sum it up: not a must have, but a great addition to the base backpack

Simple, effective, easy to install or remove. Excellent addition to the Jaakari M (though I think the frame should be included when you purchase the pack). Still, it's worth it.

Really good, the rucksack provides the stability you are looking for with heavier packs. Rub the frame in a little more, but put it in a pillowcase for a pillow or something else, and the problem is solved.

An absolute must for the M. It will provide much needed stability and extra load carrying capacity.

Significantly strengthens the backpack. A good addition if the backpack is packed heavy. Causes some creaks though. At least fully packed and in brisk motion. However, without this, I'm not going to carry the backpack anymore.

Wearing comfort improves again significantly. good framework. Unfortunately, the backpack has been squeaking since then, but this can be alleviated with ceramic lubricant, for example. Otherwise 5 stars.

enhances the hunter m enormously and induces the same stability as the hunter L has. the frame could be 1cm shorter in length. so it would fit perfectly in the compartment.

Good: improves the posture and portability of the Jääkäri M-backpack, especially with a slightly heavier loading. A bit of a downside: when used in conjunction with the plastic back stiffener of the icebreaker M-backpack, the velcro flap of the stiffener pocket does not quite close, at least in your own backpack. Of course, this has very little significance for use.

This is the most solid backpack ever

A pretty good frame overall, only issues are the bottom of the frame where its fitted together and welded is a litte rough, not a big issue though easy to fix with a file. The other issue being its a bit of a tight fit in the pack. Ov ed r all though pretty decent.

Extremely light and sturdy frame, adds rigidity to the pack with almost no loss of space or added weight. Very easy to install too, great addition
