The bag has completely replaced the backpack in my commuting and daily commuting, and with this I got rid of my back sweating while cycling. The roll-up pocket mouths have turned out to be substantially less annoying to use than I assumed. I originally considered buying a Velo-Shopper bag, which would be easier to use with a flap closure, but I ended up with the Back-Roller Plus because of its larger volume and additional pocket. The volume of the bag is quite sufficient for everyday shopping for one or two people, but as a family I would prefer a trailer or cargo bike. In the additional pocket, you can easily put smaller items that you want to access faster. The shoulder strap could be more comfortable, but it does its job when carrying shopping from the store to and from the bike. With a lighter load, it's easier to carry with the handle. Attaching the bag to the rack works well and is mostly easy to use, but requires a little adjustment at first. Thanks to the choice of material, it's a really smart-looking bag (especially compared to PVC models). I haven't yet been able to test the waterproofness this winter.
