The device is a handy size and easy to use, the flashlight feature is a nice plus. However, if the life of the battery and therefore the entire device is only approx. 18-20 months (relatively light use), as it seems to be now, it is a "nice waste". Personally, I would replace this with e.g. Fenix's E12 lamp and Primus' Poverlighter III lighter. A slightly more expensive option, €15-20, but has been in use for years without problems as long as you remember to change/check the batteries and gas before the trip.

With this, you can light almost everything you need. The plasma arc does not go out under any circumstances. Handy to light the flame in the gas cooker in a strong wind. You can't light up spilled embers, but you can light a birch tree.

The first touch gave a toy-like feeling because the surface is hard plastic, I would have expected the body to be more rubbery, so the grip would be better with a damp/wet hand. The LED bulb is useless because a good eräjorma always has better lights, the telescopic arm of the lighter is absolutely useless without it, the lighter would do nothing. Despite the niggling, it's an ok purchase, I don't feel that my money was wasted.

The lighter is marketed as a batch lighter for demanding conditions. In the instructions for use, it is forbidden to handle the waterproof lighter with wet hands. The ignition buttons get stuck in freezing temperatures, so that quite a bit of brute force is needed to turn the device on. If the buttons are pressed, almost nothing happens, because the battery can't withstand freezing. Nice toy, but completely unusable for proper sorting.

Great game, good lighter with telescope and light better than expected. The only minus comes from lighting the candle, which causes stearin to easily stick to the tip. However, the product is not intended for that. I recommend!

Plasma has been praised in many places, but I found it disappointing. When igniting, you have to touch the surface to be ignited, so the tip of the lighter will stick to the tip. In many materials, the ignition power is worse than in a decent liquid gas starter. The best thing is weather resistance

The idea to buy a plasma starter started one windy day when I tried to light a gas burner with a basic starter. After thinking for a while, I ended up with Kaari loomi x2kko. I have now used it on one trip to Lapland. Trangin can be conveniently lit even in windy weather and the telescope provides a nice reach. There are also no problems with lighting paper and firewood. The chips of the tar stump, on the other hand, did not ignite easily, I resorted to colt. So far I'm satisfied, which means it will continue to be used on trips and at the cottage.
