Based on dry testing, it seems good. For once, a pillow high enough to sleep on your side. The valve is a bit small to fiddle with with calloused fingers, but perfectly functional.

I don't know why I haven't bought this much earlier... Goes into a really small space, can be fine-tuned EXACTLY to the hardness you want and keeps the air in 100%. Pricey, but quality pays. When this one sometimes tells itself off, I immediately buy either this same one or a better model from the same manufacturer.
